Top Photos Recognized at 2006 Conference

The winners of the second annual “Images of Trauma” Photo Competition were selected and announced at the 2006 International Trauma Conference in Newton, Massachusetts.

First place was awarded to Michael Rushing, EMT-P, from the Florida chapter, for his photograph “Worker Injured After Hurricane Ivan III.”

Second place was awarded to Roberto D’Angelo, RN, CCEMT-P, from the Italy chapter, for “Rescue from Mountains.”

Third place was also presented to Roberto D’Angelo for “Motorcycle Accident.”

The competition was judged by members of the Chapter Support Committee, and contest entries were on display through the conference.

Winners were recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the conference on Saturday. The winning photos will also be printed in the special conference edition of the ITLS Bulletin.

Entry Form for 2007 Photo Competition Available

Contest rules and a submission form for the 2007 Photo Competition, held in conjunction with the 2007 International Trauma Conference in San Antonio, Texas, are now available. Photographs may be submitted at any time, so start thinking about your entries early!
